Engineering
Our Engineering staff uses the latest in computer aided design software and architectural specific 3d modeling software. Our standard case work design is drive by the award winning Cabinet Vision Software by Planit Solutions. For custom designed caseworks we draw directly in AutoCad by AutoDesk.
Through our extranet portal we allow our engineering staff remote access to these tools so that if they are working directly with a client, architect or end user they have the capability to modify items live to limit any delays.
Our technology does not end in the engineering department but also continues into the manufacturing department. In fact most machines are programmed directly from the office by the engineering staff.

Project Management
Each project that is awarded to CWC is immediately assigned a Project Manager. This project manager will monitor the project and is responsible for all aspects from the initial engineering phase through manufacturing and ending with installation. The project manager is the single point of contact to our client while their project is in progress.
The Project Manager will create the schedule based off of our clients time tables and is responsible for aggregating the project schedule to the overall schedules. They work closely with engineering and manufacturing to ensure the clients particular construction requirements are adhered to. During the installation phase the project manager will often go out to the site on a regular basis to answer any questions that the Installation team may have and to monitor overall progress against the published schedule and client time tables.

Production
CWC has 15,000 square feet of Manufacturing space. Machinery is constantly being updated to increase safety, production, and eliminate waste in manufacturing time and materials. Our latest purchase was a Giben Beam Saw with a label printer. This saw is capable of cutting multiple sheets at one time. Optimization is done in Engineering and sent to the saw. Other recent purchases are a Brant Edgebander capable of handling 3mm tape with corner rounding and a SCMI Point to Point.
Our Cabinet Assembly Department has recently been reorganized to use the latest in Lean Manufacturing techniques.
Our Custom Area with its skilled Cabinet Makers work side by side with Engineering, with their traditional skills and our modern technology, quality products are guaranteed.
Our Finishing Department can handle any size project.

Installation
Ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction is of paramount importance to CWC. That is why we maintain our own highly trained installation crews. Each one of our highly trained and qualified team member average over 10 years of experience within our industry. Our installation teams work hand in hand with the other trades to ensure a smooth and timely completion of even the most difficult project.
CWC team members continue to participate in ongoing training enabling them to be more effective and better equipped to meet any challenges that are presented.

Safety
While most people would not consider safety a business unit CWC does. If you have read our company history you will find that CWC is a family company and we consider our team members part of our extended family. Safety is a priority one above all other concerns.
CWC has implemented OSHA approved shop safety and job site safety programs. These programs start with the proper training of team members in the safety aspects of the machines and tools that they will be using as well as general safety measures. All employees are required to bring any safety issues directly to there supervisor.
CWC has implemented a weekly preventive maintenance policy that includes safety as a core value. All machines and power tools are inspected and where possible corrective action is taken immediately on the tool or machine. Where corrective action cannot be immediately performed that tool or machine is either removed from the shop floor or locked out to prevent injury.
This safety policy extends to our installation teams. They are required to come into the office on regular basis for truck cleanouts and tool inspections. They are spot checked by the project managers while doing site visits and there are quarterly random safety checks performed by management while teams are in the field.
